God’s Creation is Wonderful – That Means YOU!

By Dr. Z

God's Creation is Wonderful

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Matthew 19:26

A while back, I texted this verse below to some choice friends, and family members to encourage them:

“I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.” (Psalm 139:14)

When I read this verse, I had a very simple, yet profound thought:

  • If God's works are wonderful,
  • And, I am one of God's works
  • Then, I must be wonderful!!!

My intention was to remind some loved ones that they are “wonderful.” Another version says, “marvelous.” Think about that for a moment. Everything that He makes is wonderful and marvelous. Every man, woman, animal, plant, rock and cloud is wonderful and marvelous because it has on it a stamp saying: Made by God (not made in China or India or America!!). It is only when man distorts this innate wonder and marvel that things become tainted, but it still doesn't negate the fact that we are inherently wonderful because we are God-made.

The response I received wasn't what I expected. Someone even responded and said, “No, I am not wonderful. Only in Christ is there any good in me. I am a wretched sinner. Worthless.”

My heart broke after reading this response. This person totally missed my point. Even though this statement may seem pious and humble, it may come across as offensive to our Lord and Creator. I have heard Christians tell me that they can do nothing without the Lord; literally. What does this say about God's ability to create full-functioning, wonderful things? At dinner, an elder at my old church picked up a cup of coffee and told me, “I can't even drink this coffee without the Lord's help.”

How sad. If that were the case, it's a wonder that anything gets done in this ungodly world!

By virtue of being made in His Image, God has placed in us so many wonderful qualities and attributes. Granted, it is only in Christ that these qualities and attributes can be transformed into something “good” and eternally worthwhile, we still must not forget the innate awesomeness of all of God's creations.

So next time you're tempted to think you or the people, places, or things around you are worthless and not wonderful, remember you are Made by God. Remember, you are WONDERFUL!!!

I am happy that Dr. Z is attracting like-minded Christians. I want to be part of it. Yes, I am also in this battle to receive full value for the Blood-price paid for experiencing all that man had lost in the garden. I am glad to meet Dr. Josh Axe and Dr. Jordan Rubin also. I believe what all of you are hosting are the fruit of the tree of life that has taken roots in you!

What an encouragement this post is.

The words “Made in China” raise questions in my mind about quality. Was the item crafted with care? Or, is it the product of an assembly line? What ingredients went into making this item? The finest and the safest? Or, the cheapest and potentially most harmful? Contrast those thoughts with the mind picture of being “Made by God!” Fearlessly and wonderfully made. Handcrafted by the Creator of the Universe.

WOW! What a paradigm shift. God made me special and has a wonderful plan for me. Thank you again, Dr Z, for making my day!

This came at the perfect time for me. My 6 year old has recently started saying things about himself that make me so sad. We have been working through a health struggle with my other son and my 6 year old has been acting out. After the moment passes, he says things like, “y’all would be better off without me”. It is heart breaking. I will certainly be sharing the kid version of this post with him and proclaiming this scripture over him. Any other suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks.

Yeah, our 5-year-old acts the same sometimes. We lovingly reassure that he is super valuable to God, to us and his friends and family. We need to help train our children to cast down these demonic thoughts until they are old enough to manage their mind on their own. šŸ™‚

I have been listening to you for years but todays e-mail really hit me hard at a time when this is what I needed most. You are a believer as I have been for many years but at times with more clarity than others. Dont know if you can do this or not but I will ask. Do you know any practicing Christians who are chiropractors in the Acworth,Woodstock,Marietta,Kennesaw area? This has been a major issue with me for years since I have a lot of musculoskeletal problems. Christianity makes a difference in how you live your life and run your business. God bless you ,Eric, for standing for what you believe in in this day and age.

Canton is pretty far from Acworth. I go to Exodus Health Center in Kennesaw and love it! It’s like having a worship service while getting the best care ever. Each dr. Prays over you after your adjustment! There are Scriptures on the walls and upbeat praise music playing while you do traction, wobble seats and vibration platform. There’s a play area for kids and MaxT3 classes 3-4 times a week. It is a very positive family atmosphere and I hope you give it a try!

Very encouraging. I want to make essential oils my profession and help people with the oils and passing the word. I felt discouraged thinking maybe I can’t handle it and I’m not good enough. Just insecure thoughts.but your encouraging words brought me back to positive feelings that maybe a can do this:)

Love it!!! Thanks so much for that reminder! I stopped and wrote “made by God” on the top of my hand! (Not made in China!)!hahaha! It’s kind of silly to write on my hand at my age (50). šŸ™‚ I understand the mind set of those who took what you said wrong. (I grew up in the church.) But, it is correct that we are wonderfully made… By God! And all that He made is also declared good.

There are so many struggling and vexed with worry that they find it hard to relax and remember this Scripture. They are often in bad health and have a hard time focusing on GOD. Seeds, like the ones you are planting here, are more important than you may realize. We all want to know someone cares, that we make a difference. Thank you for caring. As someone called into ministry by the MASTER, I just want you to know you make a huge difference. Thank you.
