Does your dog get the blues when you leave him home alone? This DIY Anxiety Spray for Dogs is perfect to help them relax while you are out of the house. This essential oil blend works wonders when you take a vacation or are gone for an extended period of time and your dog is left feeling anxious.
DIY Anxiety Spray for Dogs
You can create this highly diluted DIY Anxiety Spray for Dogs to mist on their fur. Also great to add to their pet bed, toys or even diffuse in the home while you are gone. Another option for keeping your dog calm is to add a couple of drops of the anxiety blend to the back of your dog's collar. By adding to the back of their collar there is no risk in them being able to lick or consume the essential oils.
Dogs are extremely sensitive to essential oils so you must always dilute well before use or diffuse. Never add essential oils directly to their skin. Don't miss our DIY Dry Shampoo for Dogs recipe!

When it comes to drug interactions and contraindications, there are literally textbooks devoted to the study of essential oil safety and, as a trained researcher and doctor, I think it’s important to note that there is virtually no research out there discussing how essential oils interact with drugs in long-term human clinical trials. This means that essential oil safety is still a wild frontier in the science community and no one really knows (for certain) how essential oils will interact with drugs or your body.
Nonetheless, properly diluting your essential oils is fundamental to safety and effectiveness because they are highly concentrated plant compounds. To help you along your journey, I have a created an easy-to-use dilution guide that you can download for FREE to make sure that all of your topical applications are safe and effective for the entire family.
